I like that M1 carbine pistol, looks like it would be fun to shoot.
We inquired on the shovels earlier this year when that vid came out. The answers we received indicated they were not interested in our business. There are several threads on it.
the combo grizzly is coming in the future
First, Norinco does not build most of the guns they export. The M4 is made at the old Jianshe Chongqing plant AFAIK.Since they're building the M4s now, does Norinco have plans to make ARs in any other configurations or try their hand at .308 ARs?

And to answer your question, they would need a 308 AR to copy. Getting it there is not easy, and they would have almost no market if they did make it. Since it cannot go to the US, and they are the only market of size that would want a 308 AR.
Yes. I understand from the end-user it is Norinco. It is only because I know the plants as individual entities that have Norinco and Poly as customers.Well, for better or for worse Norinco is the label it's being exported under. Power supplies are typically referred to as from the brand they're sold under despite the brands often keeping multiple OEMs and designs for the product.
Civi sales are peanuts. 308 is a MG cartridge in most end users eyes. 60 years ago when the AR10 was being sold it was the new thing, but we know where that went.Ah, I was wondering about the .308 because with the CQ-A, aren't they geared more towards foreign government sales with civilian exports as a side activity? I couldn't know if any of their institutional customers were looking for a .308 DMR to go with their M4 clones, but I guess not. Also, it wouldn't be one of the modern variations, but Burma and Sudan were both customers of the original AR-10s way back when.

Sort of, but these days the factories general make different products. Int eh old days, they would have several making AK, SKS, etc.Sounds almost like the Russians where three separate companies are licensed to produce Flankers and compete with each other for export contracts
basically, yes.So the real question shouldn't be what ideas we have, but what their existing product line looks like. Do we get any hints?![]()

So is the rem 870 clones (grizzly's) being sold for non civi, aka law enforcement or military?
More goodies to come
So in short there is basically no chance of any of our Canadian ideas actually becoming a firearm, your simply bringing in what they are already making?
Is "Dominion arms" what the manufacturer decided to call their line up, or is that what you guys chose/ what the exporter chose?
btw I LOVE MY GRIZZLY!!! Goes well considering my ATV is also called a Grizzly.
I have Yamaha Grizzly clothing to wear while shooting my grizzly that i can take with me this summer while riding my grizzly![]()
Next time you see news about a riot in China, check out what the riot cops are carrying. They look an awful similar to the Grizz and Grizz Mags
