IDF M14 parts kits picture thread!

The heavy barrels sold out before I could get online, but my standard kit arrived with a TRW bolt and barrel so I am thrilled.

I got a heavy barrel kit with Winchester bolt and Winchester op rod (66118 on both). Looks like TRW trigger housing with HR hammer

Are barrel markings under the handguard?

Mine were, if you were looking down the barrel over the handguard to the front sight, on the left hand side, about a half an inch under the handguard close to the chamber. You may need to rotate the handguard a little and get a flashlight under it to read well.

On the Nimrod scope is the windage on the left?

I believe they're just turned 90 degrees to display the markings on the objective

Edit: after looking at the pictures on the first page and examining the pictures at Corwin Arms, the windage is in fact on the left.

I believe this was to keep clear ejection path / leave hand room for cocking / Op rod without bumping windage. You can also adjust without taking hand off trigger (if your right handed) Some snipers preferred this.

Thanks!

Here's the markings from my barrel, SAKO medium weight NM profile?

seems like a good thing to me. Just wondering if both right and left were out there.
