Time to resurrect this ol' thread.
Was a time that I only had eyes for Sakos ... but that's changed now that I own this:

Tikka T3 Laminate Stainless steel for sure. Nicest looking deer rifle imo
If money is a harsh reality...then the Ruger #1S, with Alex Henry forearm, 26-inch barrel, in some kind of classy cartridge, preferably rimmed.

I love any and all full stock rifles (luv my No.1-RSI 7X57 and would like to add a M77-RSI .308)... singles, bolts, all...
But for pure ###y lines... I agree with John (although I prefer the 22" barrel to the 26", for handling) and the OP and several others on this old thread... The Ruger No.1-A and 1-S and 1-H with the Alex Henry forearm, ###y curves, rib and irons, and the barrel band stud, with nicely figured walnut on the darker side with a slight reddish tinge... is as ###y as they come... I have had a dozen or so over the years... have four in the stable now and am looking to add one more;

Any rifle Gatehouse is holding is ###y by association.
