Thanks for that. Yes some have put the .338 on the Savage LA. The 110-FCP will certainly fit!

I would like to say summer, but it will probably end up completing in the fall of 2014. We are doing what we can, but good things take time!
 
So with this stock, what weight ranges are we seeing on complete guns? Remington 700 and Savage if anyone knows.

Can a truly light gun be made, or is it just light in the world of tactical style rifles?
 
LSS with an interchangeable fore end would be fantastic! (Probably difficult)

Longer fore ends for those of us that have long barrels (26, 28 and 30 inch). I'd like to have an LSS with a 20 inch fore end. I have the Tac21 chassis on a different rifle and with my latest build laying beside it, it looks rather funny with all that barrel hanging out there. It would also provide a very stable and mechanically slow moving pivot point for a bipod.
 
I know it says it's not compatible but has anyone tried using this stock with a bottom bolt release (in front of trigger guard) Savage 10TR? Thanks
 
For folks that have picked one of these and fitted with a magpul stock, Limbsaver has now released a butt pad for magpul. Should fit any of the CTR® and MOE® Mil-Spec stocks as well as all STR™, ACS-L™, ACS™ stocks. Nice and soft and cushy like all their pads, trivial to fit. I picked mine up at Reliable in Vancouver. While the hard rubber stock pad is fine on an AR, I found it wanting on a larger calibre bolt gun (yes, that's because I'm a sissy).

It is very easy to make a forend extension, if it is desired to move the bipod further out.
 
Does it really say coming soon for savage axis?!?!? IM IN!!!!!! Will i have to use the factory mag or is there one that will work with the stock. What axis will work i have the 30-06?
 
MDT I am not coming back here any more( your site) you cost me to much all ready! I got car payment's you know! The woman is knocked up and threatening to leave the twins got colic the mother in law is making pretty eyes at me lately??? The boss is after me to do more over time. I am so full of stock envy (The LSS are so sweet) I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Definitely need some trigger time. What's a poor SOB to do? pity on all of us please!! Don't stop doing what , what you are doing its the only evil sin I got left. They can't take that away. Can they ??

thats perfect for me, that will give me time to save some $$$ are you taking pre orders? do you know what the mag situation for the axis will be? sorry for all the ?'s

We do not have much information, it still needs to be tested.

one more stupid question, my bad. will the lss chassis come with a buffer tube (comm or mil)? if not what should I purchase with it for a buttstock?

It does not. You will need to purchase the one that the buttstock requires. It is not depending on the chassis. The chassis will take any buffer tube. The thread on the buffer tube for mil spec or commercial is the same.
