Is 7.62x39 drying up?

Yes the idea was to dump the sea can in my driveway, lock it and sell it by the case. The CFO wanted an earth berm, a fire fighting system....and the list went on. The goal was to sell the ammo for cost + shipping per case + 10% profit. Oh the hate mail came rolling in from fairly large companies. I could of got 54r for a few more dollars per case.

Might have been easier to rent a warehouse for a while and have a legit business.

Hey guys
I have a question about 7.62x39. Basically I want to know is surplus 7.62x39 going to remain readily available and inexpensive for the next 5 or so years? The reason I ask is because it looks like none of the stores in the Vancouver area still carry 7.62x39 surplus in large crates. I am considering buying a sks but if the ammo is not affordable I would decided against it.

All input is much appreciated thanks guys!

Are you allowed to buy ammo online in Canada? There's no shortage in the U.S. at seller's such as Sportsman's Guide, AmmoMan.com et al.

Also got some Chinese 7.62x39 from TradeEx. Had a great experience, shipping was quick. I Went to shoot my SKS inna woods and the ammo was decent.

1500 rounds (corrosive) at Canadian Tire in Chilliwack for $299.
Hmmm, so what's that about 12400 km, round trip in the wife's civic, 6l/100 km, x12400 Divided by 20... no 30 crates, maybe 35, then add in the CTC money maybe on a x 20 day,,, always wanted to drive through the Rockies! This could work!

Edit. Ok, so a mini ish utility trailer will increase payload by 2000 lb, maybe drop mileage a bit but no biggy! Looking at 60 crates, I will probably have to lose some weight on the way up there!

Would be a fun cross country trip.

Since so many militaries use the caliber, wouldn't the supply automatically refill once in awhile when the country refreshes inventory?

Plus one! If we could just find a way to create world peace, there would be an abundance of ammo for us sport shooters.:slap:
World peace through massive build up of arms, pretty much the only way at this point, everyone should have a pallet of x39 or .223 in their basement and the equipment to use said ammo!
