There will be a spring (April) and late summer (Sept) Milshoot.

For the spring, I'm thinking sometime between "freeze your ass" and "get eaten by bugs". Perhaps mid-April in conjunction with an EOHC IPSC competition. We had 12 last time, and I'd like to aim for 15+ this time around. Same rules, format, etc.

Andy ... where can I get details on this shoot? I am about 2 hours away and so long as there isnt a conflict with turkey season I'd like to go.

At this point it's tentatively scheduled for mid-April - but it will be before the Turkey opener. Details and an invite will go out a few weeks ahead of time, posted on this board in the "Milsurp" section.
 
January's goodie

Here's my new toy! A 1942 Walther P38 complete with all the waffenants and swastika birds! Had something else lined up but the deal fell thru so I snatched this up instead...Oh well, the Mauser needed some company.Just brought 'er home today. Can't wait to shoot it!

Yeah. I spent 45 minutes waiting to get helped - after that I wasn't in too much of a mood to give them my money. Congrats though, nice gun. Hows the bore?
 
I freakin HATE giving SIR my cash, but sometimes...I actually got speedy service that day, otherwise I might have walked...

As for condition, the bore is ok, sharp shiny rifling. The parts are a bit of a mix n match. The slide is AC 42, the rest of it looks german wartime. Yet to have it apart.

Sigismund, youre right. I'm glad I bought it and now all I want is another hit...I mean Walther...I'm considering a P1 now...

What is an OK price for a P38? rarely see them come up on CGN. Don't think I got taken, although the interest on the credit card might make it a different situ in the end...
 
Sweet!!! Theya re truely addictive! And the early ac's are quite desireable! Nicely done!
