You will be disappointed with Fritz if you aren't the type to clean the carbon/copper fouling out of your bore on a regular basis.

Just go with Wipe Out, unless you have a serious fouling build up problem.

I'm presently using Sweet's 7.62 on a barrel that I've been trying to clean the fouling out of for a couple of months. Might be time to break out the electronic cleaner??

Wipeout has worked well for me, for quite a while now. I have an electric bore cleaner as well, haven't used it in a long time. Cleaned up some surplus rifle bores well though, except for a couple that were beyond saving. - dan
 
Where I got to like the Flitz was in my 6 PPC. I had hard carbon build up in the throat and between the lands that I could not seem to get rid off. I tried JB and Isso as well. They helped but there was still some left. I then tried Flitz. After about 5-10 min of brushing all was gone and the bore was pristene. JME
 
I just checked and Amazon.ca has Flitz BC for about twice the price of Londero !! Just sayin'... I personally have used the "Remington 40X" bore cleaner to good results, a very mild abrasive. The link below is a discussion on 'polishes' like JB etc. And in that there is a link to 'Sniper country" with some info from Gale McMillan re abrasives. I usually just use Chemical cleaners for Copper and Carbon, but I've not had a 'Lead problem' yet . Maybe I'll go with the Peroxide/vinegar if I need something, the 40X doesn't 'feel' abrasive but I'm sure it has some, looks like really thin muddy water.

Yeah, this rifle is a milsurp and I haven't had to go the electronic route for a couple of years, but?????????

Umm that "BLUE" you're complaining about is the copper fouling, dissolving and mixing with the Wipe OUT.

When you get through that layer, you will likely run into layer of CARBON, which will be close to black then, if the next patch isn't a GRAY color, it will mean another coat of Wipe Out and you will get BLUE patches again.

I see you're using the ''foaming'' Wipe Out Bore Cleaner.

I prefer the LIQUID type, which is the same price but will clean three times as many rifles.

From the picture I agree - but if a copper/brass brush has been down the bore at one time... it can cause a blue indicator... not as heavy as pictured though.
