It's a pretty good little bench for in front of the shop. Fairly light, mostly sorta solid/a bit wobbly, smooth swivel and a pretty big surface to put stuff on. It also comes apart and folds up easily, which makes it easy to put somewhere in the fall, pile stuff around it and make it difficult to dig out in the spring.
I got it through cabelas.ca for $190 last year, and because of their bizarre shipping rate schedule it only cost $15 to ship. I don't see it listed there any more though, but there are a couple of other models available.
Where it would really shine is in the back of a pickup in a nice gopher patch. It could be taken down so the tonneau cover will still roll for the trip, and then quickly reassembled for a beeeyoootiful elevated swivel shooting position that's nice and comfortable.
But I hear that's illegal. so I would never do that.
Thanks for the info. Are you sure about the illegal part? That was pretty much exactly what I was thinking of doing.
