I've got a new project on the go and have plans to paint it, let's see if I have the nerve to actually do it when the time comes (involves painting optics), haha!
 
The rifles/carbines in this thread look awesome... My XCR is too expensive for me to feel comfortable painting, but at less than half the price a WK-180C should be good to go when it arrives.

-Tr 25 on riser
-Magpul MLoc Slim Hand Guard

Dont want to do a full camo spray paint job.. but dont think the painting/detailing is finished yet.

Here is my retro build with its retro paintjob.

Paintjob I used Krylon Camo OD and Khaki and sealed it with Krykon flat clear. I taped the serial number, rear sight, front sight post and jammed an earplug in the muzzle. Did 3 coats of OD after a light clean up (10mins between coating) then did the khaki stripes and touch ups.

No net, no burlap, I wanted a simple look to remain undetected by Figure 11 and other paper ennemies :p



"The Build": its a part bin build

-Dominion Arms upper/lower
-CNA 10.5" barrel 1:7
-Magpul MOE Stock
-Magpul RVG mounted on a cadex rail
-Colt Canada handguards
-TNA FSB, gas tube, D-ring, barrel nut and handguard retainer
-BCM Charging Handle Mod4 medium
-Ferro Concept sling

Excuse my frogness, what is a lawyer spray ?

I do finish all my paintjobs with with krylon flat clear (2-3 coats). It does protect the finish a lot, I did a water bottle that has been thrown around a lot since 2015 and it is still 95% covered with the original paint.
