Thanks, very fat bull. Also very tasty :D

First time i ever shot a "timber moose". Short legs and huge front. Fronts were 130 each - the hinds were 100.

My son Spencer's cow moose. 1 x shot with the 7mm08 and it was down. Just got home and hanging in the garage....now for the mules!

My dad was rather pleased. He pushed it out too him and I got to watch the action from 100 meters away.

Nice work Nester.

Now, who's paying attention?

YES, the 7-08 will work on moose, just fine.

NO, you don't need $800 worth of Cabela's camo to hunt in. A white hoody, rigger boots and a Red Wings cap will work just fine.

OK, maybe a different cap.

Wife got her first buck last night. Snipermarie is a stone cold killer. 300 yard standing shot. Dropped him like a stone.

Here's my southern Ontario buck. Not a monster, but the biggest I've shot.
He walked into a clearing about 300 yard out. I saw his antlers glimmer in the only morning sun I saw all week (crappy wet weather). He was quickly walking across the bush line. I did not have time to range him out, but I had a rough idea of the distance. I hit him at 225 yards (my longest shot to date). Liver & lung shot with a 30/06, 150g Hornady SST factory round. He pretty much dropped where he stood. Thanks to my buddy James who let me use his cottage to hunt for a week (he was unable to make it out with me).
The last picture is of the cape, on the way to the taxidermist for a full shoulder mount.
