Least favourite cartridge?

7.62x39

I see some of you still cant freakin' read..... I said , "The 7.62x39 is a fine little round, it's the ugly piece of sh!t sks that I don't like"
In a Ruger 77Mk11 the little round performs well when handloaded to its full potential.
Someone said that the 303 and the 7.62x39 are the same, wrong again.
303 Brit is .311 diameter and .312
7.62x39 is from .308 to .310
Any 30-30 Winchester is better than ANY commie crap sks, is that clear enough?????????

Wow... All you guys whose least favorites like 30-06, .270, 7.62x39...

Surprises me. You must have fallen outside of the realm of OTHER calibres.

My most favorite and least favorite is whatever CF catridge I am shooting at the time. Most cause I shoot it ALOT!, least because I have to reload it in equal numbers! Be it the 500 or so .300 WinMag, or the 1000's of .40S&W.

My least favourite? .22 Short
So little bang for the non-reloadable.....

Standard groove diameter of foreign military rifles in 7.62 x 39mm is .311", and most factory ammunition is loaded with bullets near that diameter. The Ruger Mini-30, the first U.S. commercial rifle to be produced in this caliber, has a groove diameter of .308". The design of it's chamber throat enables it to handle bullets of .308" and .311" diameters.

Subject: 5. Bullets

Bullets suitable for the 7.62x39 are available from many of the major U.S. manufacturers, although they are sometimes listed under ".303 British." Look for a .310- to .311-inch diameter bullet in the 120- to 130-grain weight range. Acceptable results have also been reported using .308-inch, 150-grain jacketed bullets intended for the .30-30.

Better?
Less complicated is more like it, but then again this depends on the shooter.
Don't beat yourself up too bad, it is a tough Carbine to learn to shoot correctly. :p

***Edit***

I decided to void this post, it was just arguments I feel would fall on deaf ears. Not much sense in arguing with somebody not open to reasoning. :)

303 Must have been violated by the SKS in some way...Probably some guy at the range with an SKS out shot him at 200 yards.:p ;)

The wandering zero on them .303 Jungle carbines will do it to yah.
Hehehe. :D

Still trying to defend those commie junkers eh??
No matter how long you try, they are still the very bottom of the barrel as far as quality goes.
As I said before, any Enfield outclasses and sks any day. This is true today and will be forever.:)

Have you EVER even handled and fired a Yugo SKS?! :runaway:  They're equal to every one of my enfields on fit and finish, and equally reliable. I have owned more than half a dozen of each.

wandering zero eh some one should mention that to the yote that had most of its innerds turned into outerds at a dead run by my NO 5 bu not to continue a point less arguement on onpions the only rounds i don't like are the ones that forget to go bang when i squeeze the trigger

45-70

For me the 45-70 is the worst cal I have owned. My long bow can shot farther and quicker, sure it may hit something like a Mack truck but that's about it. I wish I didn't get sucked into the hype, should of listened and purchased the .375 H&H instead.

I'm not a 45-70 hater, but I'd take a 375 H&H anyday over it. Packs more of a whallop at short AND long distances!:)
