Man that really turned out great. I don't usually go for clone builds but that looks awesome.

It will be fine. The dot is on a higher plane than the irons, but not by much.

Its our railed stock adapter and it shipped to dealers this week. The irons are Troy battle irons.

Here is my final setup.
Scope is a $50 2.5x long eye relief NCstar that works great for me. Stubby grip allows quick mag swaps. Stock is ugly but the combined system works very well for me. the gun went though some growing pains as I tried different sights, handguards and grips/adapters, but I like this setup.

very nice, look i see NEA rails as the end product. How is the stubby hand grip say vs just using the magazine as a grip? im still not sold on the whole grip thing. Nice set up im always looking for info on scout style setups and weather there good or not. im debating optic decisions big time.

Grabbing the mag is way too close for me, each to their own.
I doubt there would be any feeding/reliability issues grabbing the mag. I hear AR system don't like it much.
