Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

Claro walnut pistol grip and hand guards by Ironwood Designs. I finished them over the past week with 6 coats of Deft clear danish oil and then today a couple coats of Howards Feed-N-Wax.

Also replaced the rear V-notch rifle sight with a peep sight. Haven't tried it at the range yet, but it seems to work well considering how far away from my eye it is.

Magwell adapter done by Casey at TacOrd and paid for by CSA as my gun fell in the proper serial number range for needing machining done.

Has anyone had their mags refinished in black? Just the finishng touch this sweetie needs.

Friend shooting my beater CZ 858
They're video stills from my iPhone, so the quality isn't that great. Really dig it with the Burris Fast Fire though!

Love how the walnut wood looks on the CSA. Great job!

Been posted before but got a Magpul AFG. Works great, all I need now is the factory comp.

I have always liked this setup, nice and light, mean looking rails with MagPul AFG. How do you find the stock folder? I have read their too short if your not wearing body armour. Is it comfortable to shoot?

The factory folder is ok, but very short at 12.75" LOP You need to square your shoulders unless you want a nose job courtesy of your sling loop. Cheek weld is almost non-existent for me (my cheek just touches the stock but contact is not firm) which causes me to lose my sight picture during recoil. (thats why I'm trying to buy your fixed stock ;)) Keep in mind I'm a little on the short side so you tall guys will find it even worse.

It's fine as long as you square yourself off to the rifle. Wouldn't exactly call it comfortable to shoot because I'm pretty much resting my cheek on a square-ish metal rod but it's not uncomfortable to the point that it cuts my range time short. I don't know about others with the folding stock but my experience with the thing has been that the butt likes to snag on EVERYTHING.

Some pipe insulation and duct tape makes the folder much more comfortable.

I got mine from Stevo, but here is the link to the source. Its not bolt right on you need to do some dremeling on the adapter to get it to fit in the grip cup on the 858.

Nice looking shooter. Get some pipe insulation for the folder. Get some 1/2 " dark grey colored pipe insulation that is cut lengthwise that has a adhesive strip with plastic that peels off and the two pieces adhere to eachother. Home depot Is where I got mine. It's been on my folder for 2 years and still going strong.

I've seen a few with pipe insulation on there, looks like it works good. After shooting it a bit though, I just put the full stock back on.
