It won't fit on the bottom, no. Some people have forced it on to the bottom rail, which deforms the plastic and makes the light loose if you try and mount it properly. Fits fine on the side.
 
Here's a pic of the flashlight (with IR filter) mounted on my traid in Afghanistan. It also shows the front of the M203 sight too. My flashlight did wiggle a little, but not enough to cause any problem or concern. A flashlight is more of an "area weapon" anyway lol

If you thought that was good, here's a closer look. You can clearly see a HE (High Explosives) round "up the pipe"! These photos were taken with a digital camera with a fancy little screen on the back. I wasn't looking through the viewfinder as the photo would suggest, but I can see how it looks that way.

That's a first... haven't seen a real C7 barrel out in the wild before - and certainly not mated to a diemaco C7 upper and sporting a real BCG.

Kinda a shame to mount it on a 'rinco...!?!
