Here in the peoples democratic republic of Canada, some Valmets are legal, and if you have 12.5, made semi AKs are legal to own, but you will find places where you can shoot them few and far between.
I agree with that guy. My price would be over 7k for this unfired one if I were selling.

What's wrong with the cz858? IMO its superior to the AK.
Not enough SKS love in this thread![]()
Maybe because its an AK threat? not, "poorly chopped up SKS made to look like AK to a semi-blind person" thread?

Your better off getting a czh2003, vz 58 and cz858
If any of us could get AK without 12x license. There would be juat as many ak as there are sks in hands of canadians.
Most ppl I think would buy just for the novelity or alot of russain ww2 fans here
We dont have the luxury so Sh@t F up and take the vz58.... ..lol. but seriously. Were stuck with the classification we have. If anything they'll ban more guns than change there minds about snub revolver or AKs and other 12x
I would love a ppk.

So Steve what would it take to get that out of your clutches
Yes the Valmet is a real AK. Especially in 7.62x39, and its the only Non-prohibited AK you can own. More like the RPK though. The 7.62x39's are expensive, even in the USA. That is for 2 reasons. 1 is they never imported very many in 7.62x39 because in the early 80's there was no surplus ammo to be had so this wasnt a popular caliber in the USA and 2nd they are very well made.
