Now that there are a couple more ways to pay and cash is accepted on the range, where are all the M14 shooters? 9 pages on this topic and lots of talk. People are always looking for a place to shoot their M14's and M1, here's the place and time, so what's your excuse not to shoot it?

Also see that there will be a Varmint Match at Cedar Springs the very next day. If you own an M14 type rifle and a Varmint rifle, why not make a weekend out of it?

With just 3 weeks away we have 14 spots open. Just a reminder, if you do plan on coming out to the match, please PM or email (csrc1984@gmail.com) me to give me the heads up!

Thanks and hope to see you there!

Coming for sure. However, the forecast is rain, fingers crossed the Weather Channel is as wrong as it usually is.

I would love to be there but our club is having our free ammo day that day..Good luck and hope your shoot goes well as it looks like it will be a fun event.
I should try and organize something like this up here in Petawawa .

It should be a fun day. Hopefully more people will show up on the day of the match. We have 15 spots open as of today. If you want to test out your marksmen skills. This match will be the one for you!

Less than 24 hrs until the match. Who is coming out for a fun match? Beside the people who are confirmed. If you do plan on coming to the match. Please be at the range for 8am-ish. Thanks and hope to see everyone out!

Great day, didnt rain.

The winner was the fellow with the black plastic stock Norinco with iron sights. Two of the scoped rifles had loose ring issues causing wandering zero's.
I went to the match looking at it as a practice for SR and loaded up accordingly. We could shoot sitting but I did kneeling and know I really need to change my form. The match pace was much slower than SR so that threw me. I like the intensity of SR but this was a good opportunity to relax and try things.
There were some TR and varmit folks practicing there along side us. They wouldn't shoot at 200 yard, just the 300 yard. They shot tighter groups than us:).
All in all a worth while day. Saw a new range, a new area, and met new people.

It was a really good day. Thanks to everyone who came out to the match. A big thanks goes out to everyone who made this match possible. Another big thanks goes to the gentlemen who supply and donating the medals for the match.

Thank you JRW for taking the time to post the pictures.

Here are the match results. The match AGG. was out of 600.

1st Nathan - 496.3X **Gold Medal**
2nd Mike - 438.1X ** Silver Medal**
3rd Howard - 421.3X **Bronze Medal**
4th David - 411.2X
5th Richard 225.0X

Thanks again.

Yup. Just 5. After lots of pages of talk. I'm glad I went. I went down the night before and got a room in Blenheim.
