Meeting place for Newbies and Mentors - BC

im looking to get a 270 rifle ,can you tell me how to check this site for the wtb site?thx.
after i buy one ,i would like join a shooting club.two guns.
 
Looking for a mentor or just some people to come with/show me and a buddy some of the places on crown land to go plinking in the next few weeks.
First time shooting my own gun, but shot several times before.
Im in vancouver, but thinking will have to drive to "sylvester rd", but open to other places.

Sylvester kind of sucks IMHO

I live in Surrey and I will usually drive near hope to a few of my fav spots. It's about an hour drive but if you leave early and come home around dinner, you have many hours of shooting.

just a heads up. sylevster is being over run with CO right now due to a accident with a atv out running a CO and crashing. davis lake is closed and the first clear cut ware everyone is shooting and has always been illegal to shoot. now is being enforced. no to mention that the area is too busy for shooting. also stave lake is another place to stay away from. you can only start shooting past the 19km marker of burma road. i drive a extreamly long way into the bush to shoot.
 
I'm new to shotguns and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can try Benelli shot guns?

Is there a place like DVC were you can rent/try out a variety?
 
I don't know if this is the right place to ask or not.... I would like to know were I can get a AR-15 new or used, doesn't matter right now I'm still looking.

If you look on the gov.bc.ca site there is a Fraser Valley Special Area Hunting Map which shows where you can discharge a firearm and it doesn't look like its 19km up burma. Closer to 5-6km where everybody shoots.
 
Im located in trail B.C. do travel to okanagan and kootenays alot so if someone new or experienced want to to meet up for rifle / trap shooting let me know!

any experienced ppl in victoria`s surrounding? sure could use some help getting used to the shooting community until i get my PAL.
 
If anyone under 18 is interested, the North Saanich Rod & Gun Club runs a free youth program every saturday from 2-4PM
Its mostly .22 prone position shooting with Canadian Industry Limited Anschutz sporters.
 
Hey there, I live in Mill Bay and have been shooting .22 at the NSRGC as part of their youth program for about a year, but I've been wanting to try more centerfire stuff at the hundred yard range, or for someone to give me tips on handgun shooting. If anyone can help that'd be awesome, I'll gladly pay for ammo and guest fee and all that.

I took the CFSC from Silver core and waiting for my R/PAL still, but would like to get some more experience shooting pistols/rifles. I'm from Surrey if anyone is willing to let me shoot some of their stuff I'm paying for ammo and food :D let me know please!
