My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

LOL that might be the reason that this rifle is not popular. My next tries might have some difficult names such as a "HVA Carl Gustav Grand Prix CG-22T"

This post motivated me shooting some of my 22LR rifles that I did not shoot for years; please keep it going.
 
The last few iron sight entries have me looking at my scoped Anschutz 1407 F-class rifle and a set of aperture sights that I had mounted on my Tikka a few years ago. Maybe..
 
Just a couple TIPs here - I often use posterboard from Dollar store - 2/$1.25 and stick-on 3/4" dots for practice. And for 'home-printed' targets I use spray-on adhesive from Michaels craft store to attach them to 'box-board' (cereal boxes, etc). OR you can attach to Posterboaard. This makes the holes more defined.
PS - still working on "5-in-a row" :rolleyes:

Groupings shot from the left to the right
Group 1: 0.618" - 0.22" = 0.398"
Group 2: 0.664" - 0.22" = 0.444" - worst
Group 3: 0.565" - 0.22" = 0.345"
Group 4: 0.553" - 0.22" = 0.333" - Best
Group 5: 0.601" - 0.22" = 0.381"

Average of all groups: 0.380"

Took a bit of trying over the last few weeks but finally got one that cooperated. Funny it's probably my worst average with the ammo but they all ended up under.

Rifle: CZ 457 MTR XRS

Distance: 50 Meters

Group 1: 0.631-0.22= 0.411"
Group 2: 0.553-0.22= 0.333"
Group 3: 0.590-0.22= 0.370"
Group 4: 0.713-0.22= 0.493"
Group 5: 0.690-0.22= 0.470"

Average: 0.415"
