Let's not let this thread get side tracked. I'm curious in the tests as well, but let's not spend to much time on it here.
Perhaps shooters who insist that shooter technique plays a negligible role in shooting results (if there are any such riflemen) might find solace and confirmation in such a test. If a sporter barrel threw the POI willy nilly, as it were, over the POA that would be comforting and reassuring indeed. On the other hand, if the results revealed that a sporter barrel configuration can give good results then that would be one less argument in favour of equipment alone determining shooting consistency.
This thread is really going sideways.

Good shootin' CK, see I knew all you needed was a good rifleJust get a pic with calipers on your smallest group, calculate the average and you'll have all the challenge requirements complete.
It looks like you set your calipers to .220 then measured from center to center?
Hmmm sorry to say CK looking at my own targets your sizes seem to be off by a minimum of 0.1". To clarify, measurement should be taken from the edge of the dark smudge on the paper, not just the punched hole which is a little smaller.
Didn't he zero@.220" and measure CTC so no smudge involved?
