A story about a 180B.
All canadian 180B owners certainly owe their pimp roots to Armedsask, he was a pioneer in modding the 180 but rather than follow his footsteps 180B into a picasso. - haha a friendly dig at Alberta's good neighbor with cheap vehicle insurance! - thats why when we separate your comin with us!
so I have probably read every post on this site, and now its time to have some fun of my own, I didn't really feel like posting pics of a stock 180 but now that I have some optics I feel its worthwhile. and create a frankenstein I am making small steps in turning my AR-
heres how my story of the day goes:
around 8:00 pm FRIDAY -> After a few shots of tequila I got this funny idea I was a gunsmith (and make this post for those astute enough to view the date), I had just plugged in my new 240 V construction heater in my garage and was cleaning up my muskeg slayin quad when I saw that gleaiming hacksaw hanging from the wall.
Earlier that day I purchased some new optics aka a scope.
Upon leaving the store with my scope and MEDIUM rings I was destined to mount my scope that very night. To my dismay the scope would not mount any way feasible without hitting the cool assed rear sight.
This is where the hacksaw came in - and my pictures!, so as you will see my precision gunsmitihing skills have started with an error factor of +/- 1/8 of an inch, not bad for a noob gunsmith right?
anyhow my pics tell the rest of the story
here is my tailor work - I cut a hole in my gun case
here is my precision gunsmithing ... now I need to epoxy some material to keep ONE of the flips on my rear site with this config
here are some of the finished result photos
And of course for all you who commented unjustly on fingers pokin through the trigger gaurds - this ones for you
Oh yeah and Throttle Monkey .... you can spank your MONKEY at the RANGE with your AR-15 - soon my 180 will be your envy - lol
hope you guys like the pics - more to come If I can get that new rail sys or a new stock
