My Schultz & Larsen M69 -- UPDATED with an easy reference list of TRADEEX rifles

Won't be any drilling or tapping here, my eyes work fine lol. The M69 is around the same cost as my K31 setup, hopefully similar results on paper targets.

Here is what is under that "thin layer of age":

I tried to capture the bore. Not an easy task, but you can see the sharp rifling. Lots of life left!

Yeah now I definitely want one of the Garand trainers..... ####, I should have stuck with collecting and shooting the .22's...

As I noted on page 6, the M69's are the way to go for a target rifle or the M58's with updated M69 target stocks. Plenty of beauties to choose from... and all easily refinished and cleaned up without much expense. I just helped a member choose one moments ago.

Using the bolt/action/bottom metal for a custom build is not a bad idea either... decisions, decisions. :)

Yeah, they are cool. I'm thinking of buying one with a rare receiver code and fully refinish the stock and metal. Stay tuned.

The example you posted is a true, original M52.

I wonder if there's a matching M52 or M58 with the original military stepped barrel? Not a hard project to restore to original military configuration.

I think an M52 would go good with my collection....I'll see what the M69 looks like first before I get too carried away lol

Well the M69 is pretty sweet, great looking bore, fully adjustable S&L trigger that breaks real nice, it's bedded and free-floated already, has a nice S&L trajectory sticker on the side so you know how many clics from 50m out 600m lol....good to go as is for me.

I'd pay $200 extra just for that stock.
That really caught my eye too....very nice.
Missing the rear swivel, the peep, and a few other sight parts from what I can tell.
They have a bunch of mausers listed recently as well, few handguns, some deals...some not so much.

tradex sold the cg63 for 369 this one is going for 725 plus tax and shipping wonder why that is,and its missing the sling swivel. That rifle looks like a schultz and larson .Still priced considerably higher than the Tradex rifles.

They don't know what it is....which is probably why they don't know how to price it.....lol

I added a new one to the fold too....starting to really like these guns

Got mine out for a shoot today....bore was rated "good to very good". First 5 round group with it zeroed, my own loads....100 yards.

Rifle isn't bedded and those were full sized brass....next go with neck sized brass should be a bit better.

Gee! 100 yards with Diopter Sight?! That's amazing! How old are your eyes?
