Never buy anything from Volqartsen! *Updated with complete transcript*

Here is the entire dialogue I had with "Customer Service" at VQ from start to finish, no editing except the removal of names and one swear word on my part.

These are the two latest responses to which I have not yet replied. I don't know what to say, quite frankly. They make it sound like I've been overly-demanding having requested my replacement parts back.....I don't know....within the year, maybe?

So there it is, 100% completely unedited.

Was I too demanding? Should I have waited longer? Did I not approach the situation properly? You tell me. Maybe I should have waited for 12 months before saying anything, according to some of you......

If you had treated/communicated to my staff that way I'm not sure I would have been as politically correct as them.

Yup they screwed up, yes they under communicated, but they did offer you fairly early to refund your money after which at some point you accused them of stealing and wished them a lot of ill will.

Wow ... April 30 you say your going to mail them the following Monday (May 2nd). The you go one to explain that you mailed them early June. Nothing can change the fact that customer service was out the door on this one, but maybe if you mailed them when you said you were going to mail them, you would have gotten your product before said machine failures.

He even offered to refund your money twice now ... so VQ is not ripping you off. Get your refund ... move on with your life.

Hmmm.. think the words "stealing" and the threats initiating some kind of online "slur campaign" didn't earn you any points Mr.Spectacular. I've BEEN that pissed-off about transactions that didn't work, and managed to self-edit myself somewhat. Took some real effort. :)

Hindsight is 20/20, but if ever I feel like sounding-off on a business or person that has ripped me off, I prefer to do it over the phone. You can make your point, let them make theirs, and hope that some positive resolution comes of it by the time you get off the phone. No nasty string of hostile emails to look over. Having said that, we're all human, and VQ did really drag this out/drop the ball...whatever. I probably would have waited for proper ones (not taken the refund either) and been equally pi**ed-off about the lack of communication.

That is a company I would never deal with.

Let them have the $90 and maybe they can afford some customer service lessons. You have a right to be pissed! You are the freakin customer who waited WAY longer than anyone should.

Move on. It is soo not worth anymore of your time.

Wow, I was On your side until I read the email where you decided to throw out all the threats. Was their customer service bad? Probably. Did you make it worse? Probably. I can appreciate how you feel. I've been waiting for a barrel from a site sponsor for almost a year, and was supposed to have it 10 months ago. I received the wrong barrel once and then apparently the company had some tooling issues, just like VQ in your post. I'll be the first to admit, waiting sucks, but you chose that option and Scott probably isn't pacing around his office trying to figure out how he's going to get those handles done for you, sucks, but I'm sure he's got bigger fish to fry, so to speak.

Mr Spectacular,
Your threats and accusations were too much.. not worth the keyboard-blood-boil for $90, not for you or the manufacturer - shoulda taken your money back the first time it was offered and been done with it.
That said, I understand how you felt, ####ty situation :adult:

+1 on that. Their customer service sucked, but throwing out threats like that didn't help anything and made you look like douche (no offense). If you would have stopped before sending them threats then you'd have a lot more people that would understand your side of things better.

Get real. Unlike you, I refuse to take it up the ass.

Hey Mr. S~lots of people in this thread are "in your corner" with the situation as you've described it, but you're losing ground with remarks like that. You framed your initial post as a sort of warning to forum members, then proceeded to show the correspondence between yourself and VQ....in which one thing became glaringly obvious~you default to offensive language to accentuate your point when things aren't going your way.

VQ dropped the ball, you didn't accept a refund as an option, so you rolled the dice and lost.
