New daily driver from Shot Show

For the extremely rare occurrences where it may be beneficial, the cost doesn't warrant the expense for all these toys. They can plan a different strategy. Plus most of these situations would be long over by the time they arrived.
Why can't we be allowed to carry, and protect ourselves, are our lives so much less valuable.

I'm pretty sure you're not dealing with armed adversaries on a frequent basis, but hey. I could be wrong.

And you’re spouting the same old politics of envy.

Spouting nothing, and envy had nothing to do with it. I pay taxes, and would like to know why my tax money should buy equipment like this to protect LEO, yet i have no right to defend my family or myself. By the time cops show up with their fancy black equipment, the civillians will be dead already, if the “crazed gunman starts shooting” So it will only protect the police. Really have no clue why you would give such a stupid response.

Watch out, Epoxy7 will say you are spouting politics and envy for asking a fair question! But you are right.

This is why they need a vehicle like this:]

These Antifas are nothing but a bunch of pu%$#%,always covering their face like the cowards they are,and seriously, bringing STICKS to a fight,,LOL.these snowflakes wouldn't last very long in battle,

Police need of Armoured vehicles is a fallacy. You can not arrest suspects from inside one of these, no more than infantry can fight and hold ground in armoured personel carriers. At some point cops will have to get out and then they are exposed again. Cops are not dying on the streets in Canada in the 100s. Explain how armoured cars have saved even one life in Canada. The copy in Edmonton was rammed by a car. The 4 mounties in Alberta were gunned down after they got out of there vehicles. Another 2 shot in a Casino trying to make an arrest. Just Boys with Toys is all

Don’t worry we all know you “Really have no clue...” it’s obvious. Once you’ve done policing for a few years then come back and it will be interesting to see what your response is. As it stands now you don’t know what you’re posting about. You’re the equivalent of an anti firearm person who has never handled a gun, spouting off about their “opinion”.

So much entitlement, so little to back it up with.

The good news is if they are required they will order them! Without consulting you!

They use them as portable cover. It’s defensive. It’s kind of nice to have cover rather than be exposed. I’ve also seen them used to ram vehicles from fleeing suspects after an armed standoff. Worked great. Stopped the guy from getting out and being a threat to the general public.

You’re I don’t see hundreds of cops dying and plea to perception already cost the RCMP a conviction after Moncton when they delayed the carbine roll out due to optics rather than reality. That poor decision making did cost officers lives and the organization was found guilty for not providing the necessary equipment/training.

Here’stage irony as I saw many of the same arguments regarding carbines as I see here. Yet many of us on this site have owned them as civilians for ages. They are practically mil surp.
