Next on the horizon for Norinco

M1 Carbine in any common pistol caliber (including M1 carbine!)

PPsh semi-auto (certain manufactures are legal in Canada, aren't they?)
If not, Thompson semi-auto

In either the original, or common pistol calibers

Either should fire from a common magazine (e.g. Glock, Ruger, CZ, etc...)

I really like the idea of classic semi-auto SMGs, especially since depending on what part is considered prohibited, they can be manufactured for Canadian standards. Well within Norinco's civilian manufacturing capability (WWII blued-steel and wood mass production!)
 
I would like to be able to purchase a very large capacity 22lr. We cannot get calico's or american 180's. but would it not be possible to built a 22 that used the magazine from one of these rifles? Or create a rifle with at least a 50 round magazine or larger?
Everyone could afford to use it.
 
How about a G43 look-alike chambered for 5.56mm taking ar15 mags, 10 rounds of fun in a stylish package

An M1 carbine with a non-restricted barrel, chambered for 9mm taking glock mags, or maybe beef up the mechanism for 5.56mm and ar15 mags, would give you 10 rounds of fun either way

I think one made to resemble the Degtyaryov would be pretty cool.

The Browning 1919 is already Non-restricted. Call up Marstar with your CC and PAL and there will be one sitting on your kitchen table promptly. Take your pick of A4 or A6.

The 1919 as rendered for non .gov end users would be just a semi auto with a somewhat uncommon feeding system. Nothing to see here, move along.

An MP-28 in semi-auto 9mm or 7.62X25 taking pistol mags would be well within their capability, wouldn't it? Or does it require too much machining?

I think people are on to something with the request for a 1911 in exotic calibers. 7.62X25 may be interesting, but I think .380 ACP is better - imagine the soft recoil.

I was just thinking, if Norinco can make 14.5 inch barrels for their AR-15s, why not a 12.5" or even 11.5"/10.5" shorty?
 
Any NON-RESTRICTED .308 Semi's would be cool. A scar would be awesome.

There is a non-restricted .308 that an ex-marine or something designed based on the FAL. Can't remember what the hell it is. It's like a LAR-10 or something. Harrison, harris, richards.... I can't remember. Anyway, it would be awesome if nork could make em.

Reliability with DI takes a hit with barrels that short.
