I'm getting that back-of-the-neck tingle that is suspecting some delaying tactics on CanAm's part, particularly with the silence on replies to emails and not taking phone calls (hopefully it's because they are busy packing up shipments, lol). Hope I'm completely out in left field. I think they bit off a little more than they could chew with this offer (business traffic wise). If we all get our purchases I suspect almost all will eventually be forgiven but a tarnished reputation can linger for a while.
Ordered 6 May, approved 10 June and proof emailed to CanAm. I received an email from CanAm customer service asking me to confirm some info with the CFC for a third time. I called them and they had no idea what I was talking about and told me the transfer was already approved. Order #3958201. What is going on?

Still waiting. Talked to ontario CFO on Monday said i was approved. Tried contacting canam for them to ship, no response or feedback. Frustrating not having any notice of where the item is. Been waiting since may 11 without any contact with canam. Just looking for a little customer support thats all.
Order #3958374
Thanks
I hear you, I've given up trying to get a response via email or phone. It does seems like they respond a little better here in the forum, I guess cuz its out for all to see. Generally I hate doing it here but 5 unanswered emails...BTW still waiting for an update on my missing items - Order #3957782.
Order Placed April 25th.
Received Order today in the mail - June 12th.
still waiting on the ammo.... it's slated to arrive later this week..... hopefully!
took the gun right down, RIGHT DOWN.
ive never done that before, was kinda fun!
put it in a ice cream bucket full of scolding hot water and some grease fighting dish soap for a hour.
scrubbed it with a tooth brush and rinsed off.
then laid out all the pieces and sprayed with G-96 gun treatment.
put a touch of G-96 oil on the friction points.
re-assembled.
gun runs flawlessly.
im very impressed!
i checked it against the 2x two color (police issue) Norc 45's i picked up years ago.
not as heavy and maybe just a touch cheaper then they are.
only thing i dont like about the gun is the grips.
cheapest plastic i have ever seen.
one grip actually fell apart when i was taking them off.
looks like they torked it down too tight at the factory and cracked it when putting it on.
no worries, Hogue in the mail!
overall very happy with the purchase.

How does the Ruger compare with the Nork and Kimber in your opinion wayupnorth? I ask because I have the Ruger and am interested to learn if I'm going to be disappointed in my Nork purchase (whenever it gets here![]()
Unreal collection man. I may need a few years to catch up![]()
Bitumen:
That's exactly what I did with mine, then sprayed her down with some gunzilla.
Sounds like rubbing it in to me.....
