After seeing pictures of Dr. Lectors 10 shot groupings with the t97 I was sold on it's accuracy given that the shooter is doing his job. The one he was shooting had a trigger job, barrel re-crowning and a skilled shooter but it highlighted the sub-moa potential of the rifle at 100m.
Thank you for your kind words, Sir,
but your comments much overstate my shooting abilities.
It took me longer than a year to learn to shoot the 97 from bench
and to achieve some results. My contribution was minimal.
The heavy work was done by two of the friends I was blessed with:
Jason F, a very young man who is a genius in his field and worked
in his spare time for about 14 months to achieve
the best trigger job to fit me,
and Ted, a master of reloading and load development.
I have to say a big
Thank You to them for their work
and for putting up with me.
Both of them happen to be better shooters than me.
When I got the first chinese M4 about 3 years ago,
I was thinking to go for a kind of competition, something like
Chinese vs. other types of M4(geries)
you know like Colt, LMT, Bushmaster, Stag, RRA, you name it.
However, it never happened, as I was too busy
playing with some other sh!t (including T97)
but I am sure other people will stage such competition between M4(geries).
I can't wait!
