Norinco NS522 build: NEW MAG RELEASE

Anyway, thanks to all of you who post. Most especially the regulars that keep this thread alive with me. I do my best to post albeit infrequent!

Thanks to you, Father, for getting the ball rolling on this thread. When I found this thread (with the help of a Canadian poster on RimFireCentral), it was only some 39 or 40 pages long. Now it is over 100 pages long, with more than 1000 posts, and still going strong. Congrats to us all!

It is on Rimfirecentral?
No, it's not. What I meant was, I learned about this thread while on RFC. There was a short thread (3-4 pages) on RFC about the Keng's NS-522, and I had posted something about getting more info on these rifles, and someone on RFC (maybe Archer Sam, but I'm not sure now) suggested that I check out a certain thread on CGN. So I came over here and joined the forum, and found this thread, which was then only about 39-40 pages long, and I've been here ever since. (Because these rifles came into the US in the mid-1990's, there is not much mention of them on RFC any more.)

Aaah, gotcha.

I was under the impression the RF did not encourage outside links.
I don't remember now if the invite was on the RFC forum itself, or in a PM. Anyway, I remember reading thru all 39-40 pages in one afternoon and being amazed at the amount of info on offer and the level of enthusiasm shown.

Just spreading the word. This is one of those threads I check for every day looking for more updates. Thank you father for starting and keeping it alive.
I wish I could find more time to get out and do some ammo testing with mine but just isn't happening right now.
Scott....

Well Scott, I may be asking a favour of you soon. It may involve some testing of a project rifle.

I'm going to bring my 2nd one in for a d&t so I can adjust the creep....it's pretty bad. No problem doing the overtravel d&t but I don't have anything small enough for the creep screw.
First one was pretty nice on the creep side.

Creep? Interesting.
Was it too far gone to buff it out?

Thank you minimouse, i will try to repeat it....
The rifle is capable .. and with cheap ammo too....
I just got nervious when I see all the bullets going through the same hole....

Looks good from what I'm able to see. These rifles offer tremendous bang for the buck. Keep up the good work!

Thank you father, i bought my rifle because of you.....

The winchester 222,333 is good enough for casual target shooting,
not competition of course....

Im happy we could help with the decision to buy an NS522.

WIN333 eh?

I cant recall how they shot in my example, but based on price Im happy for you that they shoot as well as they do. Are you using an Elite scope or a Banner?
