wow, this is crazy.
It seems like everybody is jumping on the T-97 bandwagon.
this is getting to be one popular gun!

Dare I say,
even more popular than the M-14?:nest:

I broke down and bought one -my first non-restricted for years.

It's a world gone mad:runaway:!!!

I predict a virtual crap load of T97 threads in Red Rifles forum week next week!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, once aftermarket producers figure out how to address the short comings of the T97; safety, scope mount, and mag release, this little rifle will give up nothing to the Tavor in terms of performance. For well less than half the price.

Now if I could only find some commercial 62g ammo....CanAm, please bring some in!!!

are we getting any of the original chinese 4X daylight scopes?

CanAm doesn't think much of the scopes from what he's previously posted, I don't think he's bringing any in. I wasn't impressed with them either.

I had a "look" through the OEM scope at Lever Arm's in Vancouver. I found it to be "okay", but the markings on the reticle were very fine, remiscient of what you might see on the dragunov rifles... But not the same... I believe CanAm had said the scope wasn't worth the $$$ they were asking for it...

Cheers

woohoo! My credit card's been billed :) (CanAm's site still says my order is 'backordered', but having paid for it is a good sign, right?? Gotta go check the mail...:p:D )

Hmm, how long I wonder to ship from vancouver to prince george...well knowing canada post, it'll probably leave van, we'll say monday, be shipped to edmonton for habituation to being handled by postal workers, then sent to ottawa to be sorted at the super secret underground canada post sorting center, then to yellowknife for cold weather climatization, back down to edmonton just because, and then back to vancouver. It will then be strapped to a whale who will bring it to victoria to be tied to a postal approved canada goose to be flown to the charlottes. From queen charlotte city it will then be loaded into a canon, and shot across to prince rupert. The t97 cannoball package will be received at canpost's specially designed cannon receiveing center, from which it will be airmailed back to vancity only to be strapped to a dingy to be pulled up the fraser river by specially trained canada post delivery salmon, to me in prince george.

Come to think of it though, i have nothing to do tomorrow or monday, i should just drive down and pick it up in person.

Sorry guys, I've asked in the previous post but the question has gone unanswered.

Does CanAm have these rifles in stock? has the shipment arrived?

Cheers,

My cc just got billed - i'm freakin' out over hear!

It says my order status is "Back ordered" though - wtf?
