T-97 update

I'm not a troll you dumbass.

I talked to them on friday, to ensure my order was processed (it was - I ordered in December btw).

I asked if that meant it was mailed, they said no. I inquired as to when it would be shipped, and was told that they were doing all the paper work, then mailing them all out next week.

You can call me a troll all you want, but that's what THEY told me.

I spoke to Mark (CanAm) this afternoon. As of this afternoon Canada Customs has NOT released the shipment of T-97's.

CanAm has NO IDEA when Canada Customs will release the T-97's.

CanAm is billing credit cards to speed up the process for when the do get the T-97's released to them.

Once the T-97's are finally released, CanAm must then do the transfers. As these are NON-restricted, it should be pretty darn quick as no CFO intervention is necessary unless you are a "bad boy" and flagged as such.

CanAm needs to have the firearm in their hands to enter the correct serial number in the transfer. Once transferred, it's shipping label and take them to the Post Office time.

Realistically, and this is gonna probably piss off a lot of the more impatient ones, realistically, don't expect to see a T-97 before the third week in February. This is just my estimate from having dealt with Customs and imports over the years.

Again at the risk of of offending some, CanAm has no idea whatsoever when the civil servants at Canada Customs will decide to play nice nice and release the shipment to them.

Canada Customs has been directly mandated by God to rule over mankind and make gun owners sweat. And like God, they can not be pushed or bullied or they will punish you.

And to those of you who still insist on believing that CanAm is gonna ship your rifle tomorrow at 3:00 PM, what can I say! Keep on keeping us all entertained here.

Now THAT'S funny!!!

Unfortunately, it's true, and there is nothing funny about it... I'd like to think I'll have my rifle before the end of February, but to be honest, I'll be satisfied whenever my T97 arrives. There simply is nothing else like it when you can "Stick it to the man..." Being able to own this firearm in the NON-Restricted class, fly's in face the of the gun grabbers and lieberals...:dancingbanana:

Cheers

Until such time as the budget is passed this PM, CC and the CFO's will be rubbing their collective slimy hands in glee at the prospect of a mass confiscation/Denial of Transfer, authorized by the prospective New Communist/Socialist/Separatist Government of Canukistan's MSM published agenda, should the budget not pass. Until then, I'll bet they feel their "Mandate from God" is to hold up transferring these evil black baby killers (or TO street cleaners...take your pick...) into the hands of the obviously demented and crime sodden component of Canadian society, ready to hop into their vehicle of choice, and commence a wave of random 'Drive By/Targeted/Selected' shootings..:jerkit:
But I'm not bitter....and I haven't even ordered one...:(

I just got off the phone with a guy who new Griffoneur back in the 70's, but has not spoken to him in at least 20 years.

He said and I quote "Qu'est que c'est un type 97? Qui est-ce et comment avez vous obtenu ce numéro de téléphone?"

Take from that what you will, earth shattering...

Do you think that 100's of guns might not take some time to put into store inventory and then not to mention the registration, payment processing, packaging, etc before they can ship out. Or do you figure they ship out the same day as they arrive in his warehouse????????????????????????

Well registering hundreds of guns takes a few minutes to do as its done online to put into inventory. The registering to individuals takes minutes person depending on what province you live in. If they were in stock I am sure someone on here would have received a tracking number by now. I know they wouldn't ship out the same day but probably the next day if they were actually in stock.

Dammit Mark, you have just caused "MED" amongst the CGNers.

Griffs dicktionary:
MED; acronym for Mass Erectile Dysfunction

For many, it was the only woody they have had in weeks, and you STOLE it from them. Shame on you! Have you no idea of the high cost of ######?

Don't any of you believe Mark, the T-97's were all shipped on Sunday morning via Poney Express... listen to yonder hoofbeats, methinks me T-97 is arriving.

Damn, false alarm, wrong horse. Does anyone know how to get horse s**t off my rug?

I am sorry to spoil there day I am just quoting whats on Canada Ammo's web site. I could send the some questionable #### to make up for it, that should fix the MED problem. You might want to call someone about that horse sh*t on your rug it might leave a stain.

I have to ask have you worked in a retail gun store before? Are you speaking from experience or???? Since 100's of guns would take you mere minutes to take into inventory, process payment, register, package and label for shipping......maybe CANAM should hire you with your Superhero abilities and they can be saved the days if not weeks of hassle.

So at work yesturday, I walk into a buddies office, shipping and receiving, and there the courrier is talking about a sea can from China "LOADED WITH ASSAULT RIFLES!".

OMG! LOL

But he goes on....

"And they're all addressed to Baker this one guys at the clearing house says, Baker? no not Baker, more like Bacon! You can bet that customs is going over that one with a fine toothed comb!"

It was at this point I couldnt take his loose lipped spinning any more and I said that maybe it was for a local gun store that has had alot of people waiting a long time for them.

Then he just kind of shut up.

Sheeple. I tell you. The only thing worse is loose liped sheeple who try to spread their paranoia and at the same time, increase security risks.

I should have gotten his name and everything.

Wondering what I will get first...the Type 97A from CanAm or the new VZ from Marstar...I've given up on my Russian SKS from SIR/Cabela's...either way I will have mucho coolness gun
