It will clean the brass even quicker if you install a couple of baffles to pull the medium up the sides of the bucket as it turns.

I have an old setup using a one gallon paint can. It worked, but the smooth steel sides did not move the medium well, especially when there was 60 or 70 rifle cases in there. Glued in three half-inch baffles using contact cement, and the difference was amazing! Reduced the cleaning time by at least half.
