OH BABY! 12.5" Rem 870 barrel arrived from Dlask today!

I don't know what pisses me off more. The fact that they aren't stamped with anything saying 12.5", or that I never got any kind of a contact suggesting they were finally bloody building the things.

I has pretty much the first person to agree to buy one, too. Hmph.

Hi guys,
Quote NaOH: "Ike, get rid of that wood and get some black plastic on that thing!!!"

NaOH, do you mean something like this? ;)

I prefer wood these days, mostly because it's not as slippery when wet.
BUT, I would go to the plastic pistol/fullstock combo if I could find a good one without speedfeed, I like that setup best.

Cheers
No, like this... http://www.riflestocks.com/images04/shotgun/MossM4.jpg
I know it's a Mossy, but you get the general idea.
Anyone tried to get these Ace stocks into Canada? Big Hassle? Use letter head from work? What's the word?

Don't listen to him Ike, your gun is perfect the way it is.

Mine are just simple bear defence field shotguns (real g-bears, not Mall Ninja g-bears) so I keep all of the toys off of them....that's why they look plain and boring compared to sxyglock's.
Maybe I should dress one up for some pics...put on the 3 shot mag extension, it'll look like it has a hardon. ;)

Damn glock, I'm VERY impressed.
With what ?
A piece of pipe ?

Almost anyone on this site could have cut and blued a factory barrel to that length.....the whole idea was to get a short barrel that is stamped from a licensed manufacturer with a length and name on it....

I think Gunn was impressed by the shotgun as put together by Skyglock, I do agree the barrels should be stamped by the manufacturer but it doesen't seem to matter if the length is on the barrel or not cause lots of Remingtons are not marked that way.
The whole manufactured V.S. cutdown thing is so retarded, they should just stick to overall length!
Does anyone know if there has ever been a case where a liscensed
Canadian gun owner was actualy charged for cutting a barrel less then 18 1/2"? If someone gets charged for modifying a barrel to a length that is legal to purchase I for one would help support the legal battle against this absurd rule. Sorry if I'm getting a little off topic.

ditto to sparrows comment..... I would like to see stamped on the barrel
DLASK 12.5"
2 3/4" or 3" 12 guage

Yes, for that money I would insist on clearly marked barrel.
"Honestly officer, it's legit" won't cut it, I fear.

What's the problem? I was under the impression that Dlask was going to mark the barrels.

CyberK,
The cost was $299 each (plus tax and S&H) and they are well worth the $$. AS for availability I am not sure how large the first production run was but it looks like there will be more, I suggest you call Dlask directly and speak with Dean or try emailing, I have gotten fast email response from Dlask.
Here is a pic of my plain (compared to sxyglock's) 870, I will have more range test pics to post later.

Damn!

Now that I like! With the short barrel and the wood stocks that just looks hardcore business.
