I just got mine back from Dlask, they were being marked. Very fast service BTW and great guys to deal with. Josef was also showing me some of his toys (now I want those too.) Dean put a raised Fiber Optic bead on as well.

OK there were only a few rounds that belched fire like that, but they seem to get the most attention 
Shooting the short barrel was a lot of fun, and there was more recoil than the 20" gun but it was not excessive (for me) and I didn't honestly notice it at the time. I was shooting #2 and #7 birdshot as well as 2 3/4" slugs (3" is a bit of a different story).
Shooting mini poppers from low ready (round chambered) at 15m I dropped 5 poppers in 3.6 seconds, that was with the IPSC timer so no cheating. Not too bad for being rusty.
The new raised bead shoots point of aim at 25m and I fired 2 slugs, they were half overlapped in one hole exactly in the center of the bullseye. No BS..the barrel works!

Although the fireball angle is certainly something to consider! Who couldn't do without some extra chicks? Can anybody post a close-up pic of the stamping/engraving on the newly produced barrels?

I was going to put LPAs on this one, but I can shoot the thing pretty well with the bead (see post aways above...most people under-rate the accuracy potential of a bead). I think (although my wife doesn't know yet) I am going to get another 14" barrel, LPAs and +1 mag extension and then put in onto a new 870 receiver with the Davis Speedfeed® IV-s 13" LOP full pistol grip buttstock. That way I can have one dedicated bear gun and one that I can use for deer/duck hunting.
Just hafta sell something else to pay for this new toy.

That looks pretty sweet! Once I eventually come up with the extra "mad money" I think I'll probably opt for some sort of tactical ghost sight set up for the front and rear sights. I like the older style that had the protective ears.
