Ontario Antlerless Draw Results

First I ever heard of anyone not getting a tag in 47. I got skunked in 48.

That's what I was thinking. Also found out 2 others in our camp that did not draw.

Received 1 tag out of 4 applicants here in 67 - It sure is nice to have the option.
0 out of 4 apps last 3 years and guess what we see most of...

Buck for me in 36 .Third year no luck.Pryor to that got antlerless 2 year in row.Friend got one this year though.Was his first time applying.Think fix is in for first timers.

Got my antlerless for WMU 71 for the third year in a row. Of course, 71 is a 100% WMU. LOL

For those interested in determining a somewhat accurate success rate for your unit, here is the tag quota set for this year.

If you assume that roughly the same amount of people applied for that unit as last year, you can work out what the rough success rate for that unit would be. 2015 application numbers are here (page 80)

For you WMU50 guys, thats a rough success rate this year of 25%. So one in four should get one.

and what sucks.. we are 500 meters south of the line between 49 and 53A.. 49 and 1100 tags this year.. 53A has 500..

Some how got a antlress in 72A. Looked up stats from past 3 years i had one last year so, I should not have got it this year. was 0% chance but no comlaints that i got er'

You would think so but we've been 0/6 the last 2 years...makes one wonder if the drawing is truly random or if the tags are weighted for those who live in the wmu.

My hunting partner owns the property we hunt in 50. He has been drawn the last four years in a row. I have been skunked the last 4 years in a row. hmmmm
