What about a pistol calibre DI system? Is it possible?

It should be possible. I am not really familiar with that kind of setup.

If the build is designed as a PDW, with the parts you have shown I would use the following :

-553 with the Matech irons behind
-magpul grip
-Stubby vertical grip or AFG, whichever you prefer
-Surefire Scout
-keep the current stock, CAA is low quality.

Some upgrades I'd suggest:

1. A light mount that offsets the scout, like the S&S or Gear sector one. I think I mine is S&S but I can't seem to find it on their website. This will allow you to get a high grip on either your VFG & tube or the AFG and actuate the tailcap with your thumb. I don't know if you can move the rails around on that tube you have, but with an offset mount you can mount the light on either the 9 or 12 o'clock rail for a right handed shooter.

2. Every rifle needs a sling. VCAS or Vicking tactics slings are great for most applications, however if you are using the weapon in a vehicle then a single point wrapped up with a rubber band is less prone to snagging.

3. A front sight. Whatever you prefer but I like a fixed LMT iron sight.

cheers

Thanks man. I like the solid feedback. Will look into the build all week this week. I still don't like the tube. A solid quadrail would be cool. Any suggestions there?

One of my "PDWs";)

20" barreled PDW, with an 6x scope. I thought that PDWs were supposed to be short, but seeing some of the ARs posted on here makes me think that this has turned into a black rifle photo contest.

Thanks guys. Any of our illustrious board sponsors deal with this manufacturer?

Used to (FAB Sports used to carry ACE stuff and P&D as well), from what I read ACE didn't renew their registration with the US State Department and stopped exporting their stuff to Canada.

Maybe post a WTB in the EE and see if someone has one they're not using.

ACE has the Ultra-Lite (and ultra light entry length) stock listed on their site for 99.99, so if you found a company in the US with an export permit (like brownells, although it doesn't seem they have that particular stock) it would be legal to ship as it's under 100 bucks.

LIE ! NOBODY saw anything till it was complete and I know for a fact you have never seen the stock nor any part of it in person.

AAAAh THIS is NOT correct. several people saw this stock at the shop in the white I will grant, but never the less, saw AND handled 1 PRIOR to your departure.
In FACT I still have the drawings and photos that mysteriously were deleted from the computer on the desk that YOU used to sit behind.

The B & T TP9, in my books, is one of the best compact PDW we're able to get our hands on. It's never failed me, run through 1000s of rounds and cleans up very easy. Most of my friends have bought them after handling it. It's worth saving for.

The Hera 1911 has a Kimber Custom II stuffed into it and it's absolutely deadly accurate. Also worth purchasing. It's a simple setup but functions amazingly and allows 230gr HP rounds to travel easily 200yds to hit hard.

I was really tempted to get the B&T TP9 - but I couldn't get past the 5-round capacity, so I went with a Glock 17 in a Hera GCC kit instead. In terms of sheer "fun", this is probably my favourite pistol caliber PDW.

I had a short-barrel PS90 and I have to say that it was an absolute riot to shoot - even more so than an MP7. Looking forward to trying the Kriss Super-V.

You guys have got to take this either to PM's or to court. It's kinda uncomfortable watching (2) respected members of our small community call each other liars & thieves.
