Great read!!!
Yeah I guess they have a covid refuge - read section. At least journalism & writing skills are still a thing at the BBC at least.
Great read!!!
BEAUTIFUL AR-10s!
Apart from an EM-2 and an X-70, one of the few relatively-recent rifles which deserved far better than they got.
Notice AR-10 on left has the cutouts on handguard for bipod legs.

In an urban setting I think a beige Toyota Corolla with a trunk full of M72’s is a better vehicle for stealth, firepower and dependability/durability. Slip in some kevlar plates and might even be better armoured. Just not as ###y. Use the same specs and substitute a Toyota crewcab pickup for field work.I always thought the Ferret , the ideal recce vehicle, low profile, easy to hide , quiet , nothing like a GM diesel with today’s recce vehicles announcing your presence to unfriendly people that you are in their neighbourhood

The last ones were being phased out in my time. Pity. I guess spares were getting hard to come by. Must have been very warm vehicles in hot climates.
Better to spend a fortune over engineering some hellishly expensive 'modern' LAV.
