Fixed it for you. :)

Hardyharharhar... :p

There's two types of shooters. Those who have a Creedmoor, and those who don't, but can't stop talking about it

I picked up a Tikka T3x Ctr in 6.5 creedmoor to see what all the hype was about.

After sighting in, these are my first 3 shots form 300m Hornady 140gr BTHP American Gunner ammo

And I was shocked how well it shot and how little recoil it has.

yes it is just a fad.:dancingbanana:

It's like a Honda Accord. they are a popular vehicle and they are for sale everywhere. No different that the 6.5 Creed. Now that it has been nailed down to a SAAMI spec, good marketing by Hornady, and good performance attributes, more of them will show up on EE as people upgrade and change.

Fad? Nor likely anytime soon considering the US Military is making the shift to 6.5 Creed

US military says 6.5 Creedmoor doubles their chance at a hit at 1000 yards over 7.62

That's not ne saying it before anyone loses their $h*t on me.

Damn. Guess that makes it a people hunting gun now.

Except those of us who shoot at animals under 500 yds away are apparently a dying breed, so we should all get a Creedmoor and become real hunters.

Having talked to quite a few people with a 6.5 creedmoor they have taken much of their game from 175-300 meters. It is the ability of being able to take game, such as a moose, at extended ranges that is a plus. Most of the ammo manufactures have ammo tailored to fit ones hunting situations. I have a friend that has a K98 mauser in 8mm and there is even a round designed for Roe deer ( the original Bambi ) for that rifle.

The difference is that they are not triggers. I’ve never seen a certain male profile threatened by such an inanimate thing.

It’s very true.

When most of us see a new cartridge ( or any other new product) that doesn’t interest us, we think “hmm, okay, not for me” and move on.

But not them. It’s like :

:runaway:

Nice. I almost thought they were going with a different 6.5mm. Also 300 Norma mag for snipers instead of 308 right? Wonder why 300 Norma mag over classic 300 win mag

No ownership on your part, eh...

Remember this;

Newton's third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

You don't think that all of the only "partially due" blathering and declaration's of "New King"/"New Prince", have anything to do with the push back?

In fact, you got the exact responses that you were "baiting" for and then gloat in your success by playing the "enlightened" victim... and declaring those with opposing views as "whiners, miserable or trolls." Hmmmm, and the troll is....

That’s pretty interesting. You basically are admitting that you are so feeble minded that you can’t control your reaction to someone posting about a cartridge nickname on the internet.

I think the military has held off now going to the 300 Norma and instead going with 300 PRC because of case head size and adaption to existing platforms

The 300 PRC is what happens when a 6.5 Creedmoor ejaculates into a 300 Win Mag
