Hello every one, I've ordered an XCR -l 223 ,1 in 8 twist, and was wondering if any body could tell me which cartridge would be more accurate , at 100 and 200 yrds? 55 g ammo or 62 g ammo? Would prefer non FMJ. Thanks.
my gas block was loose the other day too. didnt think it was a big deal, had already put like 500 rounds through. then bang bang, clink and the whole gas block flew off and only stayed on the barrel because it hit the flash hider. I'd say tightening up the gas block is probably a good idea.
If the gas block was loose, could the alignment be out too?
If the two holes don't line up 100%, perhaps you're running out of gas, causing the fte.
I have the L, and I believe the M has a different gas block, so above is a guess.
I like the case, she be looking good.

Thanks, I've been buying some of both, but not to much, until I get the rifle.I'm told the 62 gr. should be best, but I never got good results. My best results come from the 55 gr.
How difficult is it to get parts for the XCR l theses days? I noticed wolverine has taken down the parts kits off their website.
