A BIG BIG Thanks for sharing this!I found this armorers course that was published by Robinson Arms. I figured it would be a good addition to this thread.

Its dated 2010, but it has the old style trigger group, stock and such. It does have some very interesting information.

Has anyone run 5.56 x45 through their XCR?
My barrel is stamped .223, but on Robinson Armaments website (and many American Dealer websites) say "5.56 NATO (.223 Rem)" I know .223 can be fired in a 5.56 chambered firearm but 5.56 should not be fired from a .223 but is this particular gun STAMPED .223 but able to chamber a 5.56? Or were the ones shipped to Canada strictly .223 chambers?
Yep, kind of the best of both worlds. im glad to have an answer from the manufacturer directly. Recently I bought two crates of Norinco ammo. One crate came in 20 rnd boxes marked .223 Rem, while the other came in two 800 rnd spam cans marked 5.56 x 45. I havnt opened the spam cans to check head stamps but I wanted to know for sure that if I do have 1600 rds of 5.56 that I can use em in my XCR rather than be limited to use them at the range in my Bushmaster.
