Rossi Ranch Hand full-size stock G/B ~ UPDATE - Feb 15/2013

I was going to get a Boyd's stock,but went for a Rossi
carbine butt stock from Precision Gun Works.
It's a nice piece of black walnut, and is well shaped
with good inletting.I made a brass butt plate for it
and will be fitting it soon.

I have one of those one mine and it works great. It'll take you a little while with a dremel to get it to fit right, but in the end works great.

Off topic: Who here ordered the Boyds stock out of despair?

I just got mine... looks fabulous, but it had a 'Winchester 92' sticker inside. :S
Will it fit? Of course my Rossi it out for paint so it's not here for my to attempt.

Cheers~

If anyone wants, I can post pics tomorrow if anyone wants to see what a nice walnut stock looks like ;)

Excellent. Thank you.
I can hardly wait. My rifle is sitting at Armacoat, hopefully I'll get it back soon. :D

I'm sorry to see how it turned out for you guys. You don't know how many times I returned to this thread and damn near committed to a bunch. Boomer74, are you sending him a bill for the reblue your require or just patching it with some cold blue and writing it off to experience?

I seem to be the only one still bringing this up.

Has anyone got a refund? A good stock?

Are you guys going to your banks claiming fraud?

A little feedback, anyone getting any satisfaction from this either in stock or refund form?

I think it's getting to be time to take action.
He's had 320 $ of mine for 7 months now, if I have to eat the loss...I can live with that.
But if he's still out there doing this crap then someone else can get taken...not cool.
I'll send a PM or two to some other members here and lets get the RCMP involved.

Tried to sell mine at the gun show this weekend. Aside from the Fudd who proclaimed in a loud voice that it could be had from LeBarons for 329 and was restricted, I had lots of interest but no takers. It turned out he was referring to a henry .22lr version. I truly hate these jokers. This is twice in two years I have had people who can't tell a M1 Garand from an M14, and apparently both are restricted, come to my tables and run off all interested parties.

So since it came home, I just ordered a stock from precision.

I am not waiting for n**b n*ts anymore. I have left patient calm messages asking him to contact me to bring this to a polite close.

He can't even be professional enough to respond.

Now I have nothing left for him but contempt. He is a thief.

Cops won't care. Taken separately it isn't enough to get them to stop eating donuts. Banks don't care. Money went out because we sent it.

I got ripped off last year on a scope. They just don't give a damn.

All we can do is try and make sure no one does business with him again.

He is going to get trashed for less than 5 K. What an idiot.

I was hoping that he would make it right but now after hearing about him ducking and avoiding the remaining people that are in on this I am fully convinced that this was a scam.

Why ruin your name and reputation for such a piddling amount of money in the end? I recall some long ago sales training I had to take. A happy customer might tell two or three people about your business. But an unsatisfied customer will tell everyone where not to go. We can only spread the word to help other people from getting scammed.

Would be interesting to know if anyone has spoken to him face to face [like when he's been at a gunshow] to know what he has to say about it & why he isn't making good on all this by now?
