I think you can relax Boomer... you may have started this ball rolling, but all the guys are big boys and went in with their eyes open... nobody is holding you responsible for the mess... sometimes things just don't work out... this appears to be one of those times... I have been burned a few times, it is particularly hard when your hopes are high... I feel bad for you guys... Chin up.
I'm not sayin that I'm feeling responsible (anymore)...
What I am saying is that this Rich guy fuk'd ALL of us over, but seemingly expected ME to be left holding the bag.
Whatever the case may be, he sure as sh!t didn't fulfill his part of the deal... That's a douche-bag move, period.

Boomer, after seeing what he did to your gun (damage wise) and you not even having your original stocks to remount, the only emotion most people out there have for you is pity. You got fuct. I am only out time and money. Your gun was used and abused. Have you even attempted to fire it since getting it back?

Good to know about that fella replicating the stocks. It smelled like "Ship High In Transit" when there was the " I had a bad cold" excuse.
So many of those types of craftsmen out there these days. If you could call them that.

I left him a message on his answering machine and sent him an email expressing
my demand for a full refund, as he has not sent me product.
Naturally, I've heard nothing back on this. Supprize, supprize!
Getting in contact this week is unlikely because Rich may be at the Saskatoon Gun Show.
I'll keep trying though.

I have no connection to this deal at all, but have read this thread from start to finish ( at this point). I got in on a group buy for model 99 Savage stocks with a bunch of Americans via 24 hour campfire a few years ago. The supplier was "Gunstocksinc". As purchasers, we expected to do the final fitting and finishing ourselves. As I recall, cost was right around $100 each. I was pleased with both the product and service, and others were as well. I had no idea just how fortunate we all were until I read about this major screw up with your group buy. Despite being an absolute amateur, I must say that my fitting and finishing of my own 99 stock, along with a couple others I have done, makes the work done by "Rich" and/or his "helper" look like it was done by a bunch of blind drunk monkeys. Your experience is a lesson to all of us about checking carefully the references, credentials, and reputations of those to whom we entrust our firearms for repairs or upgrades. I extend my sympathies to all of you, and hope this mess is somehow righted to your satisfaction.

Yes, we been had by this loser and his so-called helper. You go into a hopeful purchase at times
and get f*cked over by a tool that is in over his head,cause he only knows how to make stocks
for a couple of different rifles, and has very little machining or shop skills. Stupid s**t can't
even set up his own duplicating machine to fit the stocks he attempts to make.
On top of that, he lies his ass off with lamo excuses on late delivery of product, poor quality
of product, and has no communication with customers on his own. Oh yeah, he even wrecks
the feller's gun who sent it to him to help lamo boy setup his equipment!
We gotta chase this turd for answers to questions, and he hides like the scamming little weazel that he be!

It would be best at this point to get after him as individuals, but that being said, if
everyone who ordered stocks cancelled out and demanded refunds, then that
would be basically the same as a group demand.

I just got mine... looks fabulous, but it had a 'Winchester 92' sticker inside. :S
Will it fit? Of course my Rossi it out for paint so it's not here for my to attempt.
