Wasn't sure if this belonged here or under Hunting and Sporting Arms. But I don't hunt and this will be used for target shooting so here it is:
Needed something to shoot 5.56 until this whole debacle gets overturned so I got this from I Run Guns. I was thinking of upgrading the stock but it is actually really solid so I will just leave it for now. Installed a Tac-Pro cheek rest to get a proper cheek weld and a Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x50 mounted in ATRS rings. The 5 round rotary mag is really cheap so hopefully Magpul releases their new AICS mag soon. Gravel Agency got back to me though and said it would likely be the fall at least before we see those.
I adjusted the trigger down as far as it would go and it averaged 3 Lbs 0.5 Oz across 10 pulls on a Wheeler digital gauge. Surprisingly crisp with no noticeable creep. Basically a slightly heavier Accu-trigger.
Anyone have suggestions for a decent linear comp that will work well with the barrel profile? I have a Midwest Industries brake that would look good on there but I can't time it properly without the risk of damaging something.
