I might know a place near you that may be getting some in. I am going to see the guy today to find out more info. If he does get some in, and I buy one( because everyone needs more than one Rusky SKS :D) I will post on this thread where to go.


Don't message me asking where LOL I will post it if this dream comes true that someone in the MTL area gets some.
 
SKS Russian

I am glad I didn't sell my all matching Russian SKS earlier. I know mine hasn't been refurbished and force matched. I have a couple of different 7.62X39's the Rasheid, Russian SKS, and Early Noranco.

hand select is a term that are used for going thru what they have on hand and picking the best of the bunch for you. its not for grading.

so if a dealer has an unissued then thats what you would get, should they run out then you would get to the next best which is non-refurb matching in excellent cond.

Too cool! Let us know! I'm wondering if Fantaprix in Valleyfield is still open. Last time I was there they had several Norinco SKS's and got a shipment of CZ-858's in. This was a couple of years ago, looked like they were going out of business. I know of another small place near Coteau du Lac. The search begins!

Try to keep things in perspective, there are a few million gun owners in Canada and I would guess a quarter to half million who buy guns on a regualar basis. A silly thread with about 30 people who post information does not even make a blip on the radar screen.

I think fantaprix has closed shop, but if I am wrong and you find out its open please let me know.

Aha! But you do not consider the many who, such as myself, have been following this thread but do not (up till now) make any posts. I have to Russky SKS coming (glad i didn't hold my breath) so I have a vested interest in this threads health.
Besides that I had to do something to cheer you up Vlashnikov....
