Savage Mk II FV-SR BACK IN STOCK!

This little gun is an absolute gem. 3x9 vortex diamondback. shoots almost as good as my ol 52b. my newest favourite plinker.
Just ordered the same scope as you... Tell me how you like it and at which distance you're shooting your targets... Which kind of ammo are you using?

On the other hand, I hope to receive the good gun I ordered in my case, so I can have some fun with this new plinker... :)

I was just shooting mine this afternoon. I'm still trying to find out what it shoots best. Crappiest of crappy was grouping almost touching at 50 yards.
Made in Canada, too. (Keep my taxes low.)

They should delete the thread if it's gone.

It can become more frustrating looking for a deal on their site not to find it, that if they were to leave it posted and note it as filled or no longer available versus the alternative.

Definitely happy with the customer service so far, had a pre paid shipping label emailed to me minutes after calling and a replacement fvsr with tracking number within a few hours. Impressive.

omfg WHY DO YOUR LINKS NEVER WORK!!???? Soooooo irritating. I don't care if it's out of stock, I want to see pricing, pictures and details!!!!

The links work when they have the product in stock. They stop working when they're sold out. What's the point of advertising a product they don't have for a price that may be higher when the next shipment comes in? Look around at other dealers' websites and you'll see plenty of stuff that's been out of stock for years or even discontinued by the manufacturer but it's still listed and still comes up in a Google search. THAT'S annoying.

Agreed. What's even worse are the ones who will happily let you add to cart, submit payment info and complete the transaction. And then a few days later you get a call or email informing you it is not available. I appreciate an online store that maintains an up to date inventory, and I'm much more likely to shop at such places.

the cheaper vortex imo are the best bang for your buck. extremely clear and the bdc reticle works pretty well with 50 yd zero. my range is all 25-150 yds. mainly use cci mini mag and subsonic.

Anyone know where to get some 1/2 x 28 barrel attachments for this rifle? just got mine in the mail and want to check out some muzzle brakes, barrel shrouds, compensators, etc.

There is tons out there... Any .223/5.56mm muzzlebrake or compensator will fit in the 1/2 x 28tpi threads.

Personnally, for the FV-SR I do like the look and the job of a Tactical Solutions 10/22 compensator, made in 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum.
It has a .920 outside diameter compensator, engineered to reduce muzzle jump, recoil and to assist in faster target acquisition.

Or the Savage FV-SR Compensator #SAV002, with an outside diameter of .800" and a lenght of 2", to fit flush with the barrel.
