The stock 0 MOA rail topped with a 30mm tube scope will put the maximum zeroing range to approx 800 yards (based on 168gn ballistics and 34moa scope adjustment)
Need more base angle if one is going to be experimenting into trans-sonic ranges...

Or get a Nightforce Scope with Zero Stop and keep your factory rail. From what I understand you zero your rifle to what ever range you want. Take off the cap set the turret. Can't bring the scope lower but you have tons of elevation. A NXS 5.5-22x50mm with a NP-R1 reticle 30mm tube might work
 
Damn....I've got $250 that my wife doesn't know about, I'm still short about $420, maybe more for shipping....hope you guys don't run out of these anytime soon.
 
Has anyone had any confirmation from SFRC that their stuff (their waiver forms, not the actual rifels, lol) was received?

nothing as of yet. i'm as anxious as everyone else to get this new rifle in my hands but give it time. I'm sure as soon as Ryan gets them in is hands he'll let us know.

Marcie confirmed for me that I did have an order in their system, when she emailed the form I needed. I scanned the completed form and emailed it back. I'm sure if you ordered online and got the auto-reply invoice that they got yours coming too! So hard to be patient...
I've already bought scope, bipod and ammo for a rifle that hasn't arrived yet.
Good thing this isn't a "Canada Ammo Type 97 due to arrive in fall 2013" load of steaming dung story.
That reminds me, I have to go harrass a competitor ;)
 
We're just swamped. Once we get thru these xmas specials we'll going to start processing the LE guns, emailing people about them etc.

Btw, the guns are already in Canada., I just have to have them shipped here from the warehouse.
