I would love to know what their background checks are. I have had lots of different ones in my life and never any issue but am still curious. Is it just CPIC and what do those reports look like.

Well I called the CFO this morning. The lady I spoke to was helpful and polite. She told me that I had passed the background check (which apparently takes the longest). She said the reason for the hold up was because I answered "yes" to 1 of the 5 questions. It was to do with my financial history, nothing serious. She said that she would forward it to her supervisor and to make sure to call them back at the end of the week to followup. Looks like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, or so to speak.![]()
YOUR APPLICATION HAS COMPLETED INITIAL PROCESSING IT IS NOW IN PROGRESS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I need some clarification of the process.
Province: ON
Date application recieved: 11/07/2011
Date all interviews complete: 11/29/2011
Current status: YOUR APPLICATION HAS COMPLETED INITIAL PROCESSING IT IS NOW IN PROGRESS (Unchanged since 11/07/2011)
Now what happens? how long does it take? where does my app go? This is for PAL/RPAL
My application showed up yesterday, as being received on November 10th.. I sent it out non-registerd mail Oct 12ish. Called in, did interview, references called in yesterday too. Lets see how long from here I guess. Hard part should be over.
You are basically done. You're now in the 28-45 day waiting period, which currently seems to be around 30 days. If they're still on track and you didn't answer YES to any of the history questions you should be approved this week. If you did need to answer yes, expect some delay as the Ontario CFO does some digging on you.
Hey Guys,
So, I took the test and passed with flying colors. My instructor had us put together an information package that I am to fill out and send once I get back two copies (test results?) of some form he sends off to them. I can then put all the information in the envelope and send it in for processing. Anyone know how long this initial thing will take?
