I have followed this thread closely in recent months and from what I can see it really is luck of the draw. Some BC residents report 30days from time of app received to licence issued where others have claimed 3months or more. I don't know if renewals are any different but you really just have to play the game and when you get it you get it.

Showed online 2 days ago, doing interview now.
Hopefully they can issue it soon!
I'm from BC too, so afraid its going to take forever.

It showed up 5 days after I mailed it in regular mail.
I had to call in for a missing check box, then waitied 2 days and call in for my interview.
The woman I talked to was nice, let me know to have my references call in aswell.
I too hope the BC CFO is not backlogging.

I finished the course Feb 28 and got my stamped results Apr. 8.
mine arrived march 4 online, called in to answer a question because it said looking for further info, that was march 10 or so
then last friday i called and did my interview, and got my references to both call in today, the last one called in a 4:15, and now its been issued
so a month and a couple days, perfectly acceptable, even tho my buddy didnt have to do interviews, or his references, and got his issued a week earler

PAL not RPAL i'm guessing? I called in last week and a lady "assisting" the cfo told me it'd be another 2-4 weeks due to a backlog of applications
Three applications, myself and two friends. All submitted in the same envelope. I posted a while ago that the turnaround was fast. That is, for two of them. Third application, interviews finished, then after a few weeks called in and got a "just waiting for final approval from BC CFO."
All referrals for each other, all RPAL, all took the same course. Any guessing about why one of the three got trapped in the BC CFO wait would be wild speculation. Bottom line is that it is not consistent.

The thing says to call them if i don't get my card within 2 weeks, just bought a red dot for the first rifle i want, and I've had a marlin in the safe at grouse river for the2 weeks already lol, so here's hoping
Did they call you, or you just called them? Mine just showed up as being received 03/19 today, wondering if I should call them to speed it up, or do I need to wait X number of days after it showed up online? do they need to hold onto it for 30 days before I do the interviews?

I just called them and did my interview. They told me that since I called it jump started my application, they weren't planning on calling my references for another few weeks. The received date for my application shows as March 12,2013. It definitely pays to call them.

I just got my PAL and RPAL issued yesterday, received Feb. 7, so 62 days in Ontario. Took 3 weeks to appear online and I called once per week to check on it. Just waiting on the mailman now, but I called for my number and placed some online orders.
Did you send your course results with your app?
Got my last ref to call in today...

Call them tomorrow and find out, otherwise it could take up to 10 days to get a letter from them
