Shorten PAL Approval Times

Your best option is to just give them a call, I've never been on hold very long when calling and it definitely helps speeds things along as well.

It's one thing to hate our firearms laws. It's another to spread disinformation...28 days is calendar days not business days. I assume you have your license, therefore you know this.

hi calata....my app has not showed up online yet...when I filled out the app under the section about spouse I just put a line through those questions because I have not been in a relationship four 4 years..(I do date..lol)...but what id like to know is will that delay the app and will I receive a letter to call in....I will call on june 2nd to see if my app has been received....should I ask the person I talk to if my references can call in for the interview or should they just call in once I have my file number. thanks in advance

Mine just showed up online 25 days after they received my app has this happened to anyone else?..on other threads people say it was online only a couple days after being received

Received may first
Initial processing may 30
Called in june 2
First reference called in june 2
June 3 ----- still says initial processing
 
Update: Called in Yesterday to check the Status, we forgot to sign the pictures. Anyways send the signed picture on May 12, Received in NB on May 16. The officer sayed there is a 4 weeks post pile up in there office

Was called to clarify something/sent to CFO May 19
I called in to check on status - picture was scanned and PAL issued June 2
PAL received June 6
 
RPal time frame for me:
May 3rd did course. Mailed May 5.
May 7 Was Received.
June 5 Showed up on website. Saying initial process has started.
June 5 Called in and one reference did their interview.
June 5 Website now saying "Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date."
Hopefully wont be to much longer.
 
Application arrived May 9th. June 6th it actually showed up as "Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date." It seemed to have skipped the initial process part. I called them and they said to have my reference call in but they were both busy and couldn't call before 5PM. Hopefully they can call first thing Monday and I can be approved. *fingers crossed*

Just got this today as well as the 80$ taken from my account. Took em about a month to even start processing.
