Shorten PAL Approval Times

How Long After Reference Called Until It Showed Approved?

For Ontario residents how long after they talked to your references if you had them call in till it appeared approved? I was told to just have one reference call in.

I'm at day 73. For some reason family ppl have longer waiting times. I have no idea why.

little update for you guys, I just got off the phone with them and my application is on the tail end of the process and it is just waiting for my photo to be scanned, she said so a couple weeks apparently might be a back log on it and then it will be either printed or sent to the CFO for final approval if needed. She also told me no references are needed bc it is only my PAL. what do you guys think of this info?

Funny I just got off the phone with them now, and was told the exactly the same thing, call them daily for updates, its all you can do. My app was recived Jan 19th from ontario
 
I was told to call back at the end of the day to see if it was scanned yet, or call back tomorrow late afternoon. I am positive it shall be done by then. I shall post my results when I call back later today
 
lucky, I hope mine does then too, I tired checking online just now but cant acccess the rcmp page to check my status weird.. going to a forbidden screen?

Got the same thing, so called in. Just waiting for the photo to be scanned, then ON CFO's blessing.

It seems that the scanners work one page (or one line?) at a time.

I called them today and was told I'm in the scanning stage too. We're on the exact same timeline - my PAL app was received on Jan 19th also.

Website is down for by the way today. I need my status check fix lol.
 
they could scan it now, 5 mins from now, 1 hour from now, or even tomorrow. I call them in the am and before they close for an up date daily. keep you guys posted on mine
 
I don't see it happening for a while, but I mean who knows, they sure don't like to move very fast so you have wishful thinking.
