If you want to shave a few days off then just call in now.

Altho I was asked 3 times why I had called in to do my interview (I was told by one of the nice ladies who you get status updates and such from that she could xfer me over for the interview). Not sure if it was going to be a big deal if I just said 'I wanted to get my interview done'...

I got my refs to call in the next day, and now its the waiting game.
 
My timeline:
Non-restricted course: Aug 13
Restricted course: Aug 14
Application mailed with test results: Aug 15
Application received: Aug 22
Appeared on site: Sept 14 (22 days)
Interview done: Sept 14
Issued: Sept 19 (28 days since receipt)

Now if only the AB CFO will pick up the phone so I can get my number...

Now that I am approved I'd like to get my PAL no. over the phone if possible.

I am able to do this in BC? I've looked up contact info for the CFO for this area but it just has a mailing address and fax. Or should I just call the 1-800?

Just got approved yesterday, they've had my application since August 5th. Getting my references to call in sped things up a lot. Called and got my license number and expiry date from CFO Ontario today. Can I order a firearm online with only my number and expiry date or do I need to wait until I get my card? I've heard conflicting stories.

Next up: 1) Buy safe from costco; 2) Start sending out letters and emails to Parlament members to speed up the crushing of the LGR and hopefully FA.. so we can replace it with something that actually works and makes sense! 5 rnd mags and barel sizes... What moron came up with that?

Non restricted, no problem... Restricted, most places wanna see your actual plastic (faxed copy).

If calling the 800 number, go through the regular prompts (1-2-2-2-1) and ask to be transferred to BC CFO.

Is there a direct number or ext for ontario cfo by chance? just rather not have to keep going through soe1 else to get there, when i called i got an answering machine :(

You can always just ask for the ext number when you call CFC as well.

My application has been recieved over a month ago, and my application has been on their system since Friday the 16th. I have not gotten a call and none of my references have indicated to me that they have been called. Sould I start calling?.... Am I being pushed to the back of the bus?... I am not a pushy guys so I do not want to step on their toes and have my applicatin pushed back further?

Yay finally I got my interview done one of my references will talk to them tomorrow and hopefully the other as well soon. The 28 day cool down is gone in so then all I will have to do is wait then for the mail man. :D (but no guns for me for the next while cause I am somewhat finacially stranded due to college and stuff oh well gives me 5 years to decided on what to buy in a year)
