Shorten PAL Approval Times

I called CFC yesterday and they said they can't give out license numbers on the phone. Am I correct in assuming I could still get my number from the CFO?

As you found out the CFC will not give out your number - but the CFO will.

Happy spending.

2 pistols in already lol...or maybe cry. I don't know. I can basically buy a few right now and then it will be three years and a university degree later that I can even think about it again.

Ok

30 days and my interview is done. I should have my ref done one Monday, so I hope to have RPAL in my hand by mid Oct.

Hey SP, I was in class with ya. Yes, we wait until the Provincial officer certifies our results and mails them back to us. Then we print our applications and mail the results, applications and everything else in (registered letter) to apply for the licenses.

Did you get the guy (Tim?) for long gun or Sherrie?

You guys can fill out your app and send it on ahead of time. Your 28 days starts from when they receive your app.

Add a note to the app that you will be forwarding your results as once you get them back from the CFO.

I just passed my Non-restricted course. Do I have to wait for my "official results" to be mailed to me before I can submit my application? I live in Ontario. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like the Ontario CPO is working a lot faster right now than expected, but stills send your app in first (registered or xpressmail) and then your results when you receive them.

I passed my test at the end of August 30 and got my stamped results back September 19. I suspect some, but not all, of the delay is due to instructors not sending results in as quickly as they possibly could.

Guys, I want your feedback... I sent my pal request with all the things needed with it on september 4th. When I go on the rcmp site to check my application status it still says that my name/info doesn't match anything they have.

Is it normal to take that long or there's something fishy?

How did you transfer your restricted firearms without the card? Both places I am getting my guns from told me "no picture card no gun".
